Michael S. Discioarro began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City in 2001. During his tenure, as a prosecutor he personally handled hundreds of DUI cases from the prosecutions side. This experience has proved extremely valuable since he routinely went up against some of the best DUI lawyers in New York City. After spending almost five years as a prosecutor, Mr. Discioarro opened up his own DUI defense practice. Since then he has represented hundreds of people charged with DUI in New York City.
The results speak for themselves. Mr. Discioarro gives each DUI case individual attention, knowing that no two cases are alike. MSD Law currently represents people charged with DUI in all five boroughs of New York City as well as Long Island and Westchester County. Mr. Discioarro has been an associate professor of Criminal Law at Hunter College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
He is a member of the Nation DWI College, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, New York City bar Association, and is admitted to practice in New York state and federal courts in the Southern and Eastern District. He speaks Spanish and Italian fluently.
